Risk Business Systems Analyst-Data GovernanceLarge Enterprise Financial Instruction All-purpose analyst role that will support business as usual activities, including reporting production and related quality assurance, as well as projects, including the Bank's Transformation Program activities. Perform quality control activities to ensure the risk reporting team's adherence to enterprise-level and departmental-level governance and controls related to data and risk reporting activities. Particular emphasis is on activities aimed at ensuring data integrity and report accuracy, including validation of data and testing to make sure codes, macros, queries, formulas, etc., are working as intended, and reviewing and proofreading content before a report is published. Develop, implement and continuously improve quality assurance and data quality check procedures in support of routine and risk reporting for governance committees, risk management senior managers, business line leaders, third line of defense, regulators, and Home Office. Investigate and remediate data anomalies to ensure the accuracy and consistency of risk reports in collaboration with Data Management Group in Risk Technology and Office of Chief Data Office. Assist in improvements in data management framework to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of risk reports.Major Responsibilities:

• Project work, including not limited supporting the Bank's Data Governance, Infrastructure and Reporting project.
• Understand the current data aggregation for the Risk reports (financial and non-financial ) and document them in project documents.
• Ensure data received or created is effectively controlled and maintained in accordance with bank policies, regulations, and internal procedures.
• Engage with upstream data providers/handlers to ensure smooth data flow and timely delivery of appropriately reconciled data to Risk Reporting Team.
• Develop training material and train the Risk reporting production team.
• Experience in documenting the procedural manuals and run books of the current production process.
• Document and analyze user business processes and requirements.
• Analyze current business processes, build current process model diagrams and make recommendations on changes to improve process.
• Build design documents based on meetings, JAD sessions or other requirements gathering tools, with developers and end-users.
• Assist in defining the user requirements and makes sure they are addressed in application implementation.
• Influences business users in redefining the business processes to maximize application usage as required. Recommends "builds only for differentiation.
• Perform data analysis, profiling, and validation of new data sources, involving loans, deposits and other security related data.
• Create systems test plans and then ultimately perform system testing for assigned change requests, updates and patch bundles/upgrades.
• Provide functional support to the technical team in systems development and act as an liaison between end users and the technical team members.
• Assist in testing of new or modified systems. Work with the QA team in conducting multiple levels of testing from stress, performance and standard application testing.
