Job Description

Duties:

Responsible for end-to-end implementation of Financial Planning and Analysis(FP&A) systems for SVB including analysis, design and development of the technology solutions. Design, develop and customize data forms for the users to input Forecast, Budget, Actual, Accounting changes and other variance explanations data.

Provide input and expertise on architecting and designing system enhancements. Create new functionality in scalable deployments. Create and maintain Essbase calculations, MaxL, Windows batch, and Linux shell scripts.

Develop solutions to address complex reporting. Design, develop and deliver advanced system capabilities. Contribute in leading efforts towards a strategic architecture of how technology is being used.

Create and maintain Hyperion Planning Business Rules and Forms and integrations between Hyperion and other systems using Load Rules, FDMEE, Python, Groovy and SQL.

Analyze data and work with FP&A team members to identify areas of improvement. Partner with data governance/IT partners during implementations, and drive alignment when delivering solutions.

Update or translate the business logic or rule in the system to reflect changes in the business or financial models.

Prepare test cases and conduct unit testing, including interacting with administrators or business users to validate results. Ensure compliance with SOX, business controls, and IT change management processes and procedures

Provide day-to-day production support including creating and maintaining technical documentation and support procedures. Stay up to date on emerging technologies in the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) space.

Manage deliverables between on-site and off-site vendor teams. Assure adherence to Enterprise Software Delivery Methodology. Complete project estimates across various lifecycle stages for all test types involved in a project.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 8 years of experience in job offered or related occupation.

Position requires:

Experience in implementing Oracle Planning Cloud (EPBCS and PBCS), Data Management (FDMEE), EPM Automate, Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Services (EDMCS), Oracle Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Services (PCMCS), Oracle Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Oracle Analytics Cloud(OAC), Tableau, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC);

Must have hands-on development experience with EPBCS modules (Financial Statements Planning, Workforce Planning, Workforce Planning, Capital Assets Planning and Strategic modeling).

Experience developing reporting solutions using technologies such as Narrative reporting (EPRCS) and Hyperion Financial reports (FR)

Development experience in scripting with Python/Groovy and setting up data integration using APIs.

Understanding of budgeting and forecasting, COA, and accounting.

Oracle SQL, ETL processes, multidimensional analysis, databases, data calculation, and aggregation techniques.

Operational support and project management methodologies, tools and processes.

Experience with production and disaster recovery systems/application support.
