- This position will focus on achieving sales and profit goals through verbal and written interaction with the clients, account planning, partner teaming and account team engagement, as well as solution development and implementation.
- This position will leverage Microsoft technical knowledge as well as available internal/external organizational resources to develop and propose Microsoft solutions to clients.
- This position will serve as an expert Microsoft technical resource for Insight sales organizations to help drive Microsoft technologies and services for Dynamics 365.
- This position will lead clients to define business needs and solve business problems with Microsoft solutions.
- Primary Technical Knowledge and Solutions Consulting Abilities Required:
- Experience providing in-depth technical sales support on Microsoft Dynamics 365 product and services opportunities.
- Experience providing engagement throughout the sales process; including discovery of current state and intended outcomes, in-depth solutioning, and services scoping.
- Deep knowledge of and ability to explain Microsoft Dynamics 365 licensing.
- Experience collecting and understanding client business objectives, conducting all research necessary to develop thorough and accurate solutions, and translating business objectives into solutions and services outcomes.
- Experience reading and analyzing diagrams, flow charts, project plans, Requests for Proposal, technical processes and procedures, business correspondence, reports, logs, and other documents relevant to a client's current or desired state; and translating that information into actionable solutions and services.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present technology demonstrations and white boarding sessions with clients using Microsoft presentation tools.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with internal and external clients using various meeting and collaboration solutions including telephony, video conferencing, screen sharing, email, other electronic communication solutions, and in person.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and partner teams and individuals, effectively collaborate with technical and business resources, manage difficult and demanding internal and external clients, and resolve conflicts.
- Ability to attend frequent and regular client and internal team meetings; to represent Insight in a professional manner; to set and maintain expectations for internal and external clients; and to communicate clearly, persuasively, and effectively to people at all levels of technical competence.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time, and maintain records of activity and communications. Ability to plan, manage, and timely complete projects requiring knowledge and skills required for the position; identify and mitigate project risks; and identify and implement program and process improvements.
- Ability to attend key Microsoft events and training sessions.
- Ability to work from home.
- Knowledge and solutions consulting experience across the Microsoft 365 family of solutions.
- Knowledge and solutions consulting experience with Microsoft's premises-based Dynamics solutions.
- Knowledge of peripheral solutions and services relevant to the adoption and use of Microsoft's Dynamics solutions.
