Exempt ion Status : Non-Exempt Position Objective The Tech Services Intern will assist in providing support to Tyler employees and to ensure timely and high quality support of applicable hardware and software environments. The Tech Service Intern also provides reports to management regarding various technical environments .
Principal Duties- Provide s Tyler software and hardware support for employees from various departments such as Sales, Solutions Consultants, and Implementation/Professional Services .
- Maintain s and re port s on hosting center environment to ensure proper performance and functionality for our clients.
- Reviews and reports internal statistics, and makes recommendations based on data collected.
- Assists management with quality control of the support processes by providing reports, and mon itoring phone and incident data.
- Work s with Tech Services team to perform duties related to internal software and hardware audits, licensing, inventories and more.
- R eport s on a ll hardware and software assets.
- May work closely with Tech Service Deployment manager to maintain licensing compliancy and status .
- May m aintain internal and resale hardware i nventories.
- May f acilitate the loaner maintenance program .
- May c ontrol shipping and receiving for all Technical Service Department needs .
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Work effectively with internal employees from a variety of departments to ensure Tyler delivers excellent service in a consistent manner.
- Extract information from from various sources , analze the information, and report on the findings.
- Demonstrate strong technical skills in relation to software and hardware used to support Tyler's applications.
- Demonstrate strong organization skills.
- Manage multiple tasks and notify appropriate management when necessary .
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills .
- Adapt to changing product s and environments .
