State Farm is seeking a bright, diligent Experienced Software Developer to join our Enterprise Technology department.

We are looking for a Software Developer or Infrastructure Analyst to work in Infrastructure for the Messaging, Movement and Data Transformation capabilities team called Redstone. This team is responsible for the building and maintaining the RabbitMQ, Kong and Mule products and infrastructure on the PaaS internal cloud platform. The work environment is made up of other software developers and infrastructure analyst and is very collaborative, fun and a fast paced. This opening will provide you with an opportunity to grow both your technical and leadership skills while serving as the customer advocate for the capabilities we support.

Qualifications

We Are Looking for Candidates With

Understanding of cloud-native platforms
Experience driving architecture and design work
Ability to navigate organization
Communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Skills:

Good understanding of Infrastructure at State Farm and how to support
- Kubernetes (CaaS)
- Linux O/S
Experience with API Gateway Kong/Spring Cloud Gateway
Experience with messaging technology - RabbitMQ
Good Product Owner coordination skills
Ability to coach mentor new analyst
Build and code management skills
CI/CD, GIT, Maven and Jenkins Server administration skills
Experience with Java and Node
