Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.Job Summary: The Maritime Strike Senior Program Manager is a direct report to Tomahawk Development Director. This position will support MST Low Rate Production delivering the Maritime Strike Seeker and associated components. This program supports NAVAIR’s need to integrate seeker technology into a Modernized TACTOM missile to provide increased long-range Surface Warfare capability to the U.S. Navy. This position requires deep management and leadership knowledge in leading dynamic production problem solving, cross functional teams, managing a high visibility effort, driving communication of project goals/objectives/decisions and results to team, customers, and leadership.This role offers a unique opportunity to be a key leader on an effort that answers an unprecedented resurgence in demand for one of the most recognizable franchise programs at Raytheon and one of the most successfully combat proven weapon systems ever. An optimal candidate will have experience in team building, building customer relationships, program recovery and possess a program growth mindset that brings the energy to drive change.This position is onsite in Tucson, Arizona at the Rita Rd facility, with the expectation of at least two days of onsite work per week and the ability to travel domestically. Accountability for profit and loss, AOP and financial metrics

Deploying and maintaining a clear program execution methodology that provides clarity and visibility into execution status

Driving the expectation of maintaining a positive team dynamic and the development of team leaders within the leadership team

Partnering with the MST program manager and other Tomahawk Production leaders

Executing capacity increase efforts currently being identified and proposed

Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with customer counterparts

Supporting proposal activities for follow-on work and establishing investment strategies

Communicating with supplier leadership and internal supply chain stakeholders to drive execution corrective actions

The role must establish and maintain a positive and inclusive program culture to which top talent is attracted.

Prepare, revise, update, and monitor required documentation and analysis in compliance with contract requirements, Integrated Product Development System (IPDS), Corporate and Business policies and procedures.

Directly support the program risk and opportunity process in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations.

Meeting contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectations.

Develop program-enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations (typically organized into integrated product teams (IPTs) and/or cross product teams (CPTs)) including but not limited to Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, Data Management (CDRL support), and administrative functions.

Display strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills, and comfortably interact with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of leadership.

Prepare and manage all required product lifecycle artifacts and reviews.

Coordinate customer program reviews, prepare for customer visits.

Support contract proposal process to include bidding, gating, negotiation, contract definitization, and start-up efforts.

Qualifications You Must Have :

Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 10 years of relevant experience

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Value :

Experience working government programs (large/complex) with direct customer interfaces, both internal and external, including Industry Partners

Experience leading cross-functional teams preferably in the Aerospace and Defense industry

Experience balancing technical, cost, and schedule constraints

Production program experience

Experience with financial analysis tools and project management tools and/or systems

Demonstrated program execution experience managing program staffing, assignments and resources

Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals and synthesizing Proposal Review and Contract Start-up packages for management review and approval.

Raytheon Program Management certification at level 5, with ability to achieve level 4 in within 12 months.

Prior experience supporting development, production, and/or sustainment programs, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry.

Working knowledge of contract formation, execution, and management.

Proficiency with RMD Program Management tools or similar program management systems.

Location Information: This position is to be located onsite in sunny Tucson, Arizona.
