Job Summary: This position will report into the Operations and Manufacturing Solutions department, which is responsible for providing IT COTS solutions to Operations and Manufacturing and related disciplines within RMS. The Principal Information Technologist will work closely with Operations and the Factory Integration & Modernization team in planning and delivering DT solutions. This individual requires strong communication skills, extensive industry, and technical experience. Duties will also include but not limited to Leading and Supporting IT tasks such as SW Tool Fulfillment, License Management, Computing Infrastructure / Computer configuration support along with a strong emphasis on technical guidance, cross-functional collaboration in DT and Operations, as well as DT Cyber Security/Test Lab. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and experience necessary to perform in a leadership role along with functional and technical guidance. The selected individual should be a self-starter with capabilities to identify, plan and support requirements to continuously simplify and improve the supported SW applications and process. Responsibilities to Anticipate: Partner with operations to evaluate solutions, process, and software initiatives

Analyze business requirements to develop technical solutions

Lead and participate in technology evaluations, develop proof-of-concepts, and look for opportunities to introduce advanced Digital Technologies into Operations to create business value

Lead and participate in software support, deployment and resolve service tickets and update knowledgebase with resolutions

Ability to travel to/between Raytheon sites to provide onsite support as needed

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree in in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)and minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience or in lieu of a bachelor’s degree additional 4 years of experience for a total of 12 years rquired.

Minimum of 4+ year/s of applicable technical experience in DT, Operations, Engineering, or Software development

Experience with leading and developing, testing, and supporting the deployment and administration of integrated software solutions in a production environment

Experience with providing technical lead and support of deployed software solutions along with Advanced troubleshooting skills and experience

Experience with leading, developing and maintaining technical and operational documentation to continually improve our computing environments

Experience with Basic Windows scripting

Qualifications We Value:

Experience leading and developing both high-level and low-level requirements for DT system

Experience leading others in DT and our partners to create a cohesive design and software implementations

Software tool administration and technical support experience, including software installation, automation, updating, and troubleshooting

Experience with license managers in a Windows and Linux environment

Team player in a collaborative work environment

Strong communication skills and ability to effectively convey technical concepts to audiences of varying backgrounds

Programming/Scripting language experience such as Java, C, Python, PowerShell

Demonstrated experience in testing, development, and deployment of Engineering tools

Experience in using CAD/CAM tools
