We’re looking for an experienced Wix Developer to enhance and refine, and do ongoing maintenance of our existing website (desinet.org). This role involves regular site maintenance, troubleshooting issues, implementing new features, and improving overall site design — not a full redesign, but thoughtful updates that make the site more engaging, professional, and easy to maintain.
Key Responsibilities:
● Enhance and optimize existing pages on Wix
● Develop sections to showcase new categories of resources, news, accept and process donations
● Ensure mobile responsiveness and accessibility across platforms
● Implement SEO and analytics best practices, including doing web analytics and integrating with Google analytics
● Support periodic updates and ongoing maintenance
Qualifications:
● Proven experience designing and developing sites on Wix
● Strong sense of visual design and attention to detail
● Strong web development skills
● Experience with site optimization and enhancements
● Familiarity with SEO and web performance optimization, as well as Analytics
● Excellent communication and reliability
Commitment:
● Contract or part-time role (flexible hours)
● Remote work is ok, with regular check-ins with the Desinet team
● Start date: As soon as possible
