Day shift: Wednesday - Friday 4am-4pm / Saturday 12pm-7pm
Night shift : Monday - Friday 5pm-1:30am
Pay rates starting @ $14.50/HRAbout the WorkplaceThis workplace is a large, climate controlled, dust-free manufacturing facility. The client recently invested over $3M to expand, renovate and modernize this facility.Required:
Lifting up-to 50LBS
Standing for long periods of time
Bending, Scooping
Requires actual bench repair experience; time sitting at a bench repairing electronics
Completion of a two year Electronics Technology degree or equivalent experience is desirable but not required.working in a manufacturing environment
Good attendance
Ability to use basic math to analyze information and measuring equipment
Basic computer skills
Ability to work safely and efficiently
Ability to work with close tolerances
Ability to work in a team and independently
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction and written processes
Performs changes and retrofits on customer’s equipment in conjunction with routine maintenance.
Diagnoses most equipment problems using appropriate tools, test equipment, and documentation.
Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Accurate / timely return of repair paperwork and parts kits.
Performs work duties in accordance with accepted safety procedures, and corporate policies.
Adheres to established ESD guidelines, repair procedures, and associated safety standards.
Knowledge of but not limited to:
Soldering Iron
Volt/Ohm Meter
Common Hands Tools
Qualifications:This job is a great fit for candidates with previous electronic assembly or quality control experience. We’re looking for hardworking candidates with:
A minimum of 6 months experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.
Experience with assembly and repair of cell phones preferred.
Computer experience, use of mouse and scanners to log information into the database.
Must have a High School Diploma. International equivalent vocational degrees accepted.
Good eye/hand coordination.
Good manual dexterity.
Ability to read and understand basic work instructions and identify packing specifications.
Experience in reworking of components is a plus.
Basic soldering experience preferred but not required.
