Steve's Auto Body is looking for a Paint Prep Tech for our Jonesboro Location.
A positive attitude and ability to show up on time is a must. Work hours are 8:00am- 5:00pm Monday- Friday. Stop by our office located at 1819 East Parker Rd for an application.
Job requirements:
Must be experienced in all phases of paint prep and cut in.
Ability to get work done in a quality manner while meeting schedule requirements is a must.
Ability to work on your own and with others.
High attention to detail.
Willingness to learn
Job Duties:
Prep vehicles properly for paint (sand, mask, etc)
Assist Refinish Technician in other areas as necessary
Assist paint technician in repairing and painting surfaces and parts of vehicles
Sanding, buffing, polish, masking
Be extremely detail oriented
Be a self-starter and able to multi-task
Transport and move vehicles as needed
Prepare vehicles and parts for primer and paint process
Maintain clean and safe work area(s)
Assist in staging materials and necessary tools daily
Buff and/or clean surfaces after all paint processes have been completed
Polish, color sand, and buff as requested and needed
Ability to back up Lead Painter and apply paint to vehicle parts after repair work is completed or in emergency situations
Perform any other duties as requested and needed by management and/or Lead Painter for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective repair process
