CMK Resources is seeking a

Senior Resident Engineer. You will have the opportunity to spend 6 months working with the Pure Storage OEM team while becoming a certified Pure Resident and then convert to full-time Storage Engineer with the end client. We are seeking someone with Pure Storage Flash Blade and Flash Array expertise to support an enterprise Healthcare company.

The client is located in Arkansas

Remote candidates will be considered, however the preference is either local to Arkansas and/or at least Central Time Zone.
  • Must be eligible for full time employment after 6 months
  • Hourly Rate is $70-80/hr W2

Qualifications:
  • Hands on Pure Flash Array & Pure Flash Blade experience
  • Hands on VMWare enterprise experience with over 200 hosts and 2000+ VMs
  • Some Knowledge of Epic Systems, Brocade, and/or EMC Isilon is beneficial

Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Customer, Resident will focus on the defined technology and may perform the following activities:
    • Advise Customer staff on current environment technical direction
    • Provide recommendations & assistance in optimizing the current environment
    • Provide provisioning and management strategies
    • Recommend standard management solutions that meet operational specs
    • Perform configuration and environment reviews with customer staff
    • Perform evaluations of new features and functionalities with customer staff
    • Provide guidance & assistance on upgrades, patches, and updates
    • Provide guidance & assistance on hardware, firmware, and software
    • Provide informal knowledge transfer to customer staff for operational
