Ful time role with our direct client at Little Rock, AR Title Network Architecture Engineer The desired candidate would have 5-7 years Engineering and Operations experience in communication service provider regional and core network ROADM, amplifier, coherent transmission, and packet/optical transport nodes and supplier base. The ideal candidate would be seeking career progression from an Engineering role to an Architect role, beginning with leading the evolution of Windstream's key existing regional and core networks, extracting the newest capabilities and lowest cost profiles within the Windstream network. The current role of the position would lead the evolution of existing and establishment of new testbeds, enhancing testing methods/procedures, and test case automation within the network lab facility. In this role, the candidate would work with peers in Network Architecture and other Engineering/Operations peers to select and integrate hardware and software for network deployment, write and execute test plans, document platform, product, and service configurations and support network automation programs requiring lab resources. Over time, the position would use experience gained to take a lead role in client's Transport network architecture and evolution, looking ahead towards next gen components and systems to propel client to the front edge of transport network technology and network cost efficiency.
