Journeyman Plumber

Job Type: Full-time
Essential Skills:
Excavate soil to access plumbing apparatus
Mini Excavator experience required
Maintain and repair septic and commercial sewer systems
Diagnose plumbing system performance through observation, testing and setup
Disassemble and reassemble plumbing equipment to perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
Review blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures
Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment to perform service to the equipment and/or mechanical system
Complete work orders, task lists and documents to verify work performed
Lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally
Work in accordance with Federal, State, and Local Requirements
This is a safety sensitive position
Qualifications/Experience:
Must possess a Journeyman License to be considered
Must possess a valid drivers license and have a good driving record
One year of residential plumbing experience
Excavator operation
Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Must be detail-oriented and organized
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
