Job Description
We are looking for a studio designer to join our team. This is a “digital first” design role (eComm, social, web, email and iMedia). The right candidate will also be responsible for designing materials for traditional print (including ads and dimensional in-store displays).
You should be proactive, calm, organized, and good at handling client feedback with a positive attitude.
Day to Day- Responsible for helping simplify complex asks through creative asset deployment.
- Responsible for quickly turning smartly designed and well organized files to production art department.
- Create and revise materials for print, digital, and creative presentations.
- Handle multiple assignments simultaneously with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Ensure layouts conform to brand guidelines and specs.
- Ensure that internal deadlines and approval procedures are met.
- Must have a scrupulous eye for detail.
- Work closely with art director, creative lead (as needed), and cross-functional team to deliver on-brief.
- Must be able to present work internally for alignment
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1-4 years of experience in Agency Studios, Production environments, and or Creative Production.
- Command of the Adobe Creative Suite is essential (Illustrator, InDesgin, Photoshop.)
- A working knowledge of PowerPoint is required.
- Ensure consistency of brand equity across all work is demanded.
- Collaboration with creative and cross-functional team is expected.
- Must understand how to build digital files efficiently and properly.
- Must have experience using die-lines for print and work within digital specs.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at a time on tight timelines is critical.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of basic graphic design principles, digital landscape.
- Must possess the interpersonal skills necessary to effectively exchange important information with internalteam,andmanage efficientworkflow.
- Able to apply sound judgment while working independently.
- Good communication skills; able to forge trusting relationships within a diverse cross functional team.
- Associates, Bachelors, BFA, degree preferred, majoring in art, graphic design, production or advertising.
