PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Material expediter to assist in an ongoing Aerospace project in Hooks, TX. This is an initial 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.
Job Duties of a Material Expediter:
- Expedite, route, and dispatches material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments.
- Reviews master production schedule to determine possible and actual shortages and alerts proper authorities of potential problems.
- Keep records of completed orders.
- Takes appropriate action to expedite materials such as order damaged material replacement and schedule in-house material transportation.
- SAP entries for material/parts.
- Assist with work order issues.
- Load/unload shipments at facility.

Required Skills of a Material Expediter:
- Forklift driving experience.
- Inventory control experience.
- Leadership capabilities.
- One year of SAP Experience
- ability to obtain a secret clearance.
- Bronze level CRC certification or higher is required.
- One year of PP&C Experience in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- US Citizen
