Principle Responsibilities & Duties:The WordPress Developer will be someone who can collaborate and be handed projects by our Technology teams and execute without a lot of hand holding. We're looking for clean, well constructed and tight code, but above all, we are looking for a solutions hustler. Someone who will go to sleep at night itching to wake up and tackle that next project, to bring tech products to life and to watch hard work translate to real usage and more effective earnings by a talented team of people eager and excited to have these new tools.Below are the job duties and responsibilities, the list is not meant to be an all-inclusive list and additional responsibilities may be added in future.The candidate will be expected to:- Establishing and guiding Wordpress Multi-Site architecture;
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality;
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of install;
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugins;
- Manage Projects through Jira Ticketing systems;
- Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery;
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications;
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites;
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.;
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers;
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages;
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML);
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git}};
- Proficient in the English language with excellent communication skills;
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time;
- Must be authorized to work in the United States;
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
