Position Overview:The Chaplain provides direct pastoral care to Hospice patients and families including spiritual assessment, crisis intervention, counseling and linkage with spiritual resources. Provides consultation and training on spiritual aspects of care as a member of the interdisciplinary hospice team. Serves as a liaison to community.Qualifications:Education

Master's With a Theological focus from accredited institution required.

Ministerial education for ordination, licensure, or endorsement; Current letter of endorsement or support from a spiritual faith group Required

1 unit CPE from an approved ACPE Required

Board Certified Eligible Preferred

4 units CPE from an approved ACPE center Preferred

Experience3-5 years Experience in parish setting or equivalent Required3-5 years Minimum 3 years of full time work required Required0-2 years Active membership in a pastoral care professional organization. Required0-2 years Healthcare experience preferred.
