HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:

Clinical Licensure – RN or LVN, Bachelor’s Degree, or Any combination of education, training, and work experience that prepares one for a leadership role in Memory Care.

Three years’ experience in providing care and services to persons with dementia in long-term care or day program setting.

Minimum three years in a supervisory or other leadership role.

Minimum three years in providing remote and live training.

Willingness to learn new techniques and embrace performance feedback.

Strong presentation and communication skills to articulate information and ideas clearly (verbally and in writing), based on the needs of the audience.

Working knowledge of Electronic Health Records (E.H.R.) and Microsoft Office

Broad knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and related Dementias.

Special Training or Certification in dementia care preferred, such as Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), Certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT), or Certified Dementia Care Manager (CDCM).

California Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) Certification Preferred

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the State of California on a weekly basis and nationally on occasion with some overnight stays.
