Estimates project levels of effort and resource requirements by using standard estimating techniques and tools, and by working with appropriate staff to execute educational grants, scientific advisory boards, scientific publications and other medical and scientific activities which require letters of agreement, purchase orders, and tracking via purchasing, finance, and other stakeholders.

Prepares project plans, schedules and budgets by using project management tools and by working with appropriate staff to understand tasks necessary to complete project.

Directs project execution by initiating and completing tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans.

Assures project quality by using standard tools.

Communicates project status by preparing standard status reports.

Resolves project issues by working with team members and others as appropriate.

Cultivates a wide range of internal networks and begins to develop an extensive external network of resources to facilitate completion of tasks.

Plans, organizes, and prioritizes own daily work routine to meet established schedule.

Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions or recommendations may cause delays in program schedules and may result in the allocation of additional resources.

Assists with logistical arrangements for the medical and scientific affairs team including meeting logistics and travel arrangements.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

Minimum 2 years of related work experience with a good understanding of specified functional area. Working technical knowledge and application of concepts, practices and procedures. General understanding of business unit/group function. Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with regulations.Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Has a broad knowledge of technical alternatives and an understanding of their impact on the systems environment.
