Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Alameda, CA

Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)

Job Description:

  • Write, modify, and execute test scripts
  • Experience with JSON and CSV file formats
  • Experience with AWS S3 and Redshift
  • Clearly and succinctly speak to, and incorporate, testing methodologies, principles, and techniques
  • Develop, modify, and execute moderately complex SQL queries Experience with HP ALM preferred
  • Work with other groups, displaying strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Apply test methodology, as well as business process and application knowledge, in the design of tests and testing strategies/approaches
  • Provide reasonable test estimates
  • Follow established processes and procedures pertaining SLC, software development, quality assurance, and regulations. (i.e. FDA, HIPAA etc.)
  • Familiarity with knowledge of 21CFR part 11 preferred

At least 3 yrs of experience; Will be supporting quality testing; data centric assignment; running variations of data through system and comparing out received from outlet expected. Will need to summarize results as a result of their test effort. Worker will complete test cases in test management system (HP ALM); attach screen shots of testing done and create test summary report. The candidate should have experience writing sequel queries.

  • Experience in big data space (medical software) 21-CFR
  • experience analytical software validation
  • hands of sequel skills and file formats like CS3
  • HUGE PLUS- familiar with Abbott quality process (AQC, HP ALM and end files).
