- Supports manufacturing partners with logistics and setup of in-process testing.
- Sets up and performs product compliance tests per standards and customer requirements.
- Works closely with Quality as required on developing test protocols and process controls.
- Sets up qualification tests, test equipment, and circuitry to evaluate the prototype and/or production models, sometimes in environmental conditions.
- Ability to draft basic 2D layouts to construct test setups.
- Procure materials and customize test setups.
- Design and assemble test systems for high current / high voltage testing.
- Has technical depth and problem-solving techniques to troubleshoot test setups.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant testing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with three-phase systems
- Experience working in medium voltage environments
- Experience with MES, ERP, and PLM software's
- Strong problem-solving techniques.
- Experienced with basic hand-tools, test equipment, oscilloscopes, and automation tools.
- Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel experience required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organization and documentation abilities.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds (2 person lift).
- Master's Degree in Engineering or Physics.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant testing experience.
- Minimum 5 years of third-party lab experience.
- Lineman and/or substation electrical experience a plus.
