- Experience in routing, switching, system design, implementation and troubleshooting of complex network systems.
- Experience in firewall technologies including completing firewall requests which includes IP/port, subnets, security protocols etc.
- Experience with VTP, ISL/ 802.1q, IPSec VPN Tunneling, VLANs, Ether Channel, Trunking, Port Security, STP and RSTP.
- Experience with MLTP.
- Good knowledge with the technology's VPN, WLAN and Multicast. And Unicast.
- Well Experienced in configuring protocols HSRP, GLBP, ICMP, IGMP, PPP.
- Experience in configuring Site-to-site and remote access VPN solutions.
- Experience in High Availability load balancing details, configuration, and testing.
- Experience in networking troubleshooting including asynchronous routing.
- Experience in multiple large-scale infrastructure and application transformation projects including at least one in cloud (Private, Hybrid or Public).
- Experience in migrating applications on physical hardware to a private cloud including sizing, capacity planning
- Uses knowledge of systems and industry requirements to develop an application migration plan based on infrastructure dependencies
- Recommends test plans and test cases to ensure changes which are made to the application meet client needs and that application integrity is maintained.
- Analyzing application, infrastructures and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
- Experience in client communications including with network engineers, project managers and leadership.
- Experience in team communications including with network engineers, project managers and leadership.
- Nice to have team lead experience leading other network engineers which include training, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and team member career development.

- Responsible for tracking and working with firewall request approvers to push to close tickets
- Responsible for network quality assurance to ensure firewalls were implemented correctly
- Responsible for networking hands-on troubleshooting with client.
- Responsible for working with engineers to ensure tasks are being completed on time including training and knowledge transfer to other engineers.
- Analyzing application, infrastructures and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
- Advanced understanding of TCP/IP network protocols, including common application protocols
