ROLE: Create Networking, Server and Storage roadmaps for future. Manage Networking, Security, Server, Storage and Backup support services. Plan, Prepare, Implement and Design IT infra and solutions. Single point of contact for all interfacing with customer, reporting to management and escalation. Expected to be having technical expertise in Networking, Network security, VOIP to solve any complex network, network security and VOIP issues. Expected to be having proficiency in

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of Proven experience in managing information systems(retail information systems) and infrastructure (platforms, network, security). Experience and an equivalent combination of education and relevant work/industry/military/job specific experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the essential job duties will be considered.
  • Experience in datacenter network switching architecture, performance tuning and load-balancers.
  • Strong knowledge of Firewalls in any one of the following: Sonic Wall, Palo Alto Firewall and Cisco ASAs.
  • Possess industry expertise and innovative technology experience that provides decision makers knowledge to take action.
  • Proven experience in developing and driving technology plans and visions.
  • Operational platform knowledge: Linux, Unix, VMWare, Microsoft Server, Amazon Web Services, NetApp, Comvault, x86 hardware, Cisco LAN/WAN/SAN/wireless, Palo Alto and IBM Power servers and storage
  • Experience with data center operations, communications and disaster recovery.
  • Understanding of hardware scalability, high availability, risk mitigation and methods of implementing IT infrastructure.
  • Skills to create server and storage roadmaps, encompassing PaaS, IaaS, engineered and converged systems and Cloud Computing. Knowledge to develop network roadmaps that allow for multi-site, remote access and highly available communications across all platforms.
  • Enterprise project management and contract management experience.
  • Excellent organizational and reasoning skills required, as well as the ability to follow directions, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and complete projects accurately and on schedule.
  • Experience in basic implementation of server, storage, backup and licensing.
  • Experience in environment using Cisco VOIP or AVAYA VOIP technologies
  • Experience in Monitoring - Any Network monitoring tool. (Preferably PRTG).
  • Strong experience deploying end-to-end QOS for real-time voice and video traffic.
  • Candidates must have strong knowledge in MPLS based WAN networks and IPSEC VPNs, interacting with Telco and global WAN carriers.
  • Vendor co-ordination and escalation for server, storage, backup and licensing.
  • Capacity management for Storage and Server.
