An industry leading asset management company is looking for a Python Software Developer. The company is the largest third-party asset manager in the life settlement asset class. Some of their clients include worldwide private equity funds and hedge funds. They are very tech focused, highly analytical, and use data to drive their company. As a Python Software Developer, you will be working on financial models that are influential to their life insurance and asset management. These models will track the price of the current policies they have. These models will need to be transferred to python so the ideal candidate will be very confident in their Python code as well as SQL. This position is remote for now, but is looking to go back to back into office. Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ Years Experience with Python ]
- Experience with SQL
- Experience using Django or Flask
- Experience transferring data from Excel
- Knowledge of Financial Models and Risk Models
- 60% Python
- 40% SQL
- 70 % Hands On
- 30 % Team Management
- Competitive Salary: Up to $160/year
