Full Stack Technical Lead/Architect Full Stack
Technical Lead/Architect is a position in the organization with the highest level of technical skills in multiple areas. Their primary roles are to provide architectural guidance on the projects with the highest complexity, mentor/coach less experienced members of the staff and evaluate/recommend changes to the current set of technology standards. Incumbents of this position are recognized within the organization as the most skilled in multiple technical disciplines, and are frequently assigned to large projects within a department or technology specialty (.Net, Java, JBoss, etc). A primary challenge for Full Stack Technical Lead/Architect is to drive technology advancements, and to lead all technology-related facets of multi-functional projects. They take a leadership role in assessing and communicating issues of technology impact on the business. Responsibilities Provide technical expertise within an assigned business unit/area or technology, serving in a lead role with a project team, in analysis, design, development and implementation of solutions. Provide technical consulting support on projects or system issues. Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts. Collect and analyze business requirements for the largest and most complex multifunctional projects. Perform feasibility studies and translate requirements into an appropriate design. Drive technology change within the organization by surveying the technology landscape, evaluating potential alternatives and recommending which tools, processes and platforms should be adopted. Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to expected customer service levels. Has no direct reports or staff responsibility, however, they are often required to direct the dayto-day activities of project team members. Required Skills and Knowledge The highest level of knowledge in multiple technical areas, with extensive hands-on experience. Areas of expertise should include: Strong knowledge of Microsoft web technologies Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Experience with client-side frameworks such as Angular JS, React, node.js Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills, able to complete assignments of the highest levels of complexity on schedule and within budget. Excellent understanding of project management concepts, and is able to work effectively as in a leadership role on large projects and/or work teams. Excellent coaching, mentoring and teaching skills. Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks.Desired Skills and Knowledge Familiarity with these technologies is a plus: Java Eclipse JBoss Knowledge of IoT applications DB2 UDB MySQL NoSQL databases Education and Experience A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training, is required. 10-12 years of experience in Information Technology design, development, implementation, and maintenance. Excellent knowledge of the methodologies, tools and products commonly utilized in within Information Technology industry, with in-depth experience in multiple areas of specialization. Experience in the industry or in a similar production/service environment is required. Extensive experience with structured design, development, and implementation within the computing architectures of specialization. Excellent working knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies is desiredVacancy expired!
