Network Engineer – full time 90 days - potential to full time hire after 90 daysPrimary responsibilities include:
- Document, test, and modify network operating systems to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve network and user issue escalations received from a dedicated service desk
- Implement assigned client projects by drawing upon a variety of prior technical experience.
- Maximize network performance through proactive network design and monitoring.
- Develop and maintain accurate and timely guidebooks for clients.
- Maintaining and administering computer networks and related environments including systems software, hardware, and configurations.
- Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
- Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems: Including RWAN/SDWAN
- Replacing faulty network hardware components when required.
- Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
- Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems.
- Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems.
- Coordinating computer network access and use.
- Designing, configuring and testing networking software
- Implement approved changes according to the Change management process
