Determines how decision support systems will provide the data required to make effective business decisions.

Performs modeling of information sources and flows.

Develops strategic report applications from the Data Warehouse.

Uses Tableau and other tools to develop reports and data visualizations which provide meaningful insight into program performance.

Establishes and maintains excellent knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, query languages, and data integrity issues.

Develops and supports complex data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.

Conducts training on use of applications developed.

Develops and maintains in-depth understanding of operational processes and workflows for all supported business units.

Analyzes operational results and trends, and utilizes data to identify process improvement opportunities.

Proposes solutions for, and participates in the implementation of, identified improvement opportunities.

Supports various financial modeling activities (i.e. staffing, pricing, budget, etc.).

Completes ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Qualifications:

Requires a BS/BA degree; 4-5 years related experience; or anycombination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalentbackground. PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience instandard Business Information tools and query languages is also required.

Must have recent, demonstrated expertise with MS SQL.

Must have expert-level MS Excel skills.

Must have exceptional attention to detail and analyticalabilities.

Must be able to communicate effectively verbally, and in writing,to senior business leaders.

Health care experience preferred.
