This role is responsible for thinking strategically, analyzing data, looking at strengths and weaknesses, and coming up with effective cost of care solutions.This position develops an integrated strategy relative to cost of care/clinical programs and initiatives across the enterprise to manage per capita cost within assigned cost categories (in other words, increase cost of care savings and ROI). This includes an end to end review, integration and rationalization of these programs, and collaboration with the finance and analytics team in determining all the associated trend reporting and metrics, to identify potential white space opportunities in the portfolio. The position will collaborate with enterprise Cost of Care leaders, SMEs, clinicians, analytics teams and various other stakeholders to leverage various data-driven ideation models to develop specific initiatives and/or tactics to fill the white spaces in the portfolio and address identified opportunities/solution areas. From there, this position will partner with additional CoC execution teams to ensure seamless flow of the initiatives through additional steps of development and implementation (although not as a PM role).Primary duties to include but are not limited to:
Develops an integrated strategy for assigned cost categories
Organizes and streamlines solutions to cost categories
Provides analysis to connect portfolio of cost of care initiatives to medical expense trend, benchmarks, membership and revenue.
Develops reports and analyzes data to identify white space opportunities to support ideation
Collaborates with CoC stakeholders, clinicians and analytics teams to understand opportunity areas and white spaces
Ensures the collection of work activities are fully integrated with other cost of care and clinical solutions and strategies in the enterprise
Identifies emerging industry trends / solutions related to assigned categories of cost
Identifies and maintains a list of ideation sources/collaborators. Builds and leverages matrixed relationships with ideation leads
Orchestrates continuous ideation processes across the enterprise to develop innovative cost of care initiatives/solutions across cost categories, clinical levers and population conditions;
Monitors performance of the ideation activities against targets at a strategic level and propose opportunities to enhance;
Provides oversight for initiative development and implementation;
Provides guidance to support the end to end process from ideation of new initiatives through execution and implementation
Establishes connected and consistent best practice processes for strategy to ideation to execution management

Candidate qualifications:
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field;8-10 years of health care industry experience; data management and analytic experience, financial acumen/experience; strategic and analytic thinker with planning and/or consulting experience; strong leadership skills in matrixed environment; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
Master's degree preferred
Must be able to travel about 5% of the time
