Join us and together we will drive the future of health care .This is an exceptional opportunity to do innovative work that means more to you and those we serve at one of America's leading health benefits companies and a Fortune Top 50 Company.Manager II – Care Management AncillaryWork schedule: Monday -Thursday 8am to 12midnight ESTFriday 8am to 11:00pm ESTSaturday 9am to 7:30pm ESTLocation: Can be located anywhere but within reasonable travel distance to an Anthem officeThe Manager II Care Management Ancillary is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of health promotion and disease management program initiatives that will demonstrate a positive ROI and health improvement of members across all lines of business.Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Ensures that prevention and health management program accreditation standards are met or exceeded and manages interdepartmental teams to ensure efficient program development and administration.

Participates with other management team members in establishing strategic plans and objectives.

Participates in aligning, developing and implementing functional area policies and procedures to support strategic plans and objectives. Establishes and manages productivity targets.

Manages use of ancillary staff as resources to other departments.

Serves as mentor to lower leveled managers and as subject matter expert for other areas of the company and within the department.

Manages multiple functions requiring unique sets of knowledge or has significant fiscal accountability.

Develops and manages annual operating budget.

Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
