- Install and setup test equipment, instrumentation, sensors and review the collected data
- Execute component and vehicle level tests including test preparation, detailed inspections, maintenance & component retrofits.
- Design and build test fixtures and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment.
- Assist with analyzing test data
- Communicate with Engineering, maintaining detailed test notes on test issues, anomalies, general test and environmental conditions
- Root cause and communicate / report issues via detailed verbal and written updates
- Maintain data acquisition equipment and sensor inventory
- Experience with data acquisition systems and various sensors (ex: SOMAT, Siemens LMS, Control Tec, NI, Dewesoft, accelerometers, wheel force transducers, thermocouples, strain gauges, load cells, pressure transducers, torque, displacement sensors, CAN BUS monitors, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational (attention to detail) and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, and ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Experience in developmental environments, provide engineering support for various vehicle/component testing, research programs, equipment design or test development.
- Ability to solder and build cables with knowledge of various connector types.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with instrumentation
- Candidates must have the ability and willingness to travel (Up to 20%)
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
- Experience with Shaker or Rig Vibration Testing (mechanical, electrodynamic, servo-hydraulic)
- Knowledgeable in strain gauge, transducer, thermocouple application theory
- Knowledge of dynamics, frequency domain analysis, vibration theory
- Basic Fabrication skills
- Experience with fastener testing
