Medical Biller

DescriptionOur Client in the Atwater market has an immediate need for a Bilingual Spanish Medical Billing Clerk for a position that will be approximately 3 months longer and could be longer.This position will be Monday-Friday from 8:00am.-5:00pm.As the Medical Billing Clerk responsibilities will include: Ability to operate 10-key, Knowledge of medical EOB’s, patient deductibles and copays, insurance or third party correspondence. Timely posting of payments and identifying adjustments, both manual posting and EFT. Preferred experience with billing systems such as Nextgen but is not required. Reconciles daily batch posting to actual entry in order to identify and reconcile any discrepancies, ensuring that payment posting functions are accurate and performed on a timely basis. Understands the claim submission process Knowledge of CPT coding and ICD-10 Knowledge of commercial payers, worker’s compensation Optical Billing experience is a plus Understanding of medical and insurance terminology Compliance, Law & Ethics (HIPPA)At least 2 years’ experience in medical billing and revenue cycle is required.Bilingual Spanish is required.RequirementsMS Excel, Medical Billing, Data Entry, SpanishAccountemps, a Robert Half Company, matches skilled accounting and finance professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
