job summary:
Our client in Auburn, CA has a 4-6+ month contract opportunity for an R Coding Developer. This role can be 100% remote with the ability to go onsite if needed.This role will support the development and maintenance of COVID-19 reporting systems, with a primary focus on the COVID-19 dashboard.Qualification Requirements:-
- Familiarity with the following R packages is preferred but not required:
- Tidyverse
- Dplyr
- Plotly
- Leaflet and/or other geospatial data packages
- Rmarkdown
- Ability to build code for cleaning and quality assurance of datasets
- Ability to build code to produce automated data reports
- Preferred but not required: familiarity with other programming languages/tools (Python, Selenium) for automation of web-based tasks.
- Work independently and as a cooperative, contributing member of a team.
- Vision - constant use of good overall vision for reading/close up work; frequent use of color perception and eye/hand coordination; occasional use of depth perception and peripheral vision.
- Dexterity-frequent repetitive motion from writing and using a computer keyboard; frequent grasping, holding and reaching.
- Hearing/Speaking - frequent hearing/talking to others on the telephone
- Familiarity with the following R packages is preferred but not required:
- R coding technician to support the publication of our public sector client's COVID-19 data and data trends
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 5 years of experience
