ABOUT THE ROLE
Field Representatives are an integral member of the Service Team, ensuring that products in
the field are installed and working properly. Field Representatives work remotely and travel to
customers as needed.
What does a Field Representative do?
Completes field service tasks (product installation and maintenance tasks) promptly,
accurately, and safely with company-provided tools.
Coordinates with to a Service Manager to ensure product installation and maintenance
timelines are met.
Reports completed work into Acuitys software systems.
Communicates cross-functionally with the Sales Team regarding concerns or
opportunities observed in the field.
Has expert knowledge on Acuity products, how they work, and how they can be fixed.
Has strong knowledge on farming and irrigation practices to proactively address and
avoid issues on the farm.
Is available to respond to field service tasks within 24 hours and complete field service
tasks within 1-5 business days.
Represents Acuity professionally when interacting with customers.
ABOUT YOU
Requirements
Ability to lift 50 pounds and be on your feet for extended periods of time
Access to a truck that can drive on farms and store tools
California drivers license with a clean driving record
Smartphone with a data plan in order to access customer information and manage
timesheets
Proficiency with basic construction and electrical work
Proficiency with email, word processing, and spreadsheets
Qualifications
Experience working in agriculture in some capacity is a plus.
Previous experience with a manual labor job is a plus.
Conversational fluent Spanish is a plus.
