We currently have a contract position for an EDI Developer in Bakersfield, CA.Open to remote candidates. Will be working in Pacific Time Zone.
- EDI X12N transactions
- EDIFECS
- SQL Server Database Design, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and ETL Development
- SSRS
- Experience with Programming, preferably with JavaScript
- QNXT Healthcare Core Systems, including knowledge of EDI Manager and QNXT Connect (MS BizTalk)
- HL-7 and NCPDP File Formats
- Must exhibit knowledge of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) formats that govern healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
- Requires at least two (2) years of Healthcare EDI X12N transactions, including analytics, mapping, developing, testing and deployment.
- Independently, or under the direction of a Project Manager or an EDI Analyst III/IV, works with Executives, Management, Staff, or Business representatives to identify basic business concepts or processing conflicts.
- Exhibits understanding of HL-7 and NCPDP File Formats, QNXT Healthcare Core Systems, including QNXT EDI Manager and QNXT Connect (MS BizTalk).
- Must possess an understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile Scrum Methodologies.
- Has the ability to cross-train and provide knowledge exchange to educate team members in Analytical roles in support of team redundancy.
- Shows a knowledge of software productivity tools such as Microsoft Office or Visio to document business or process requirements related to a technology system.
- Capable of understanding the structure query language (SQL) for analytical data mining, software development, TFS, and business reporting.
- Successfully engages in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Under direction, evaluates information gathered from multiple sources for reconciliation conflicts.
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Has an understanding of technological resources and the ability to utilize various forms of electronic resources in everyday communications.
- Capable of work directly with managed care core system software to process data transactions for business functions such as eligibility, claims, authorizations, and case management.
- Processing of the company’s programs and applications to support departmental activities through predefined checklists.
