Responsibilities:
Work with other test engineers and developers to produce high quality products. Develop and perform manual tests that they then automate to support the validation of new and current products. Work with the team to create test plans and select reusable tests to automate. Plan and execute the validation of communication products and associated configuration software under development Design formal test procedures and test plans from internal product design documentation as well as from external certification requirementsAutomate tests within an automation test framework, using python to interact with industrial automation products and industrial network protocolsAssist in the investigation of functional and performance failures that are discovered during hardware, software, and integration testingAssist in the investigation of customer issues after the product is releasedTransition products from design to certification, as well as from design through production; creating automated smoke tests, performance tests and formal reports based upon test result data.Required Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in WIFI product development2+ years of experience python programmingExperience with python libraries and frameworks. Pytest and Selenium experience may be an advantage.Experience developing automated testsExperience with ensuring reliability of hardware and software operation.Industrial automation experience required, including Client/PLC and accompanying programming software. This should include troubleshooting problems with PLC or HMI applications (Rockwell, ABB, Schneider Electrics products experience preferred).Industrial network experience required, such as EtherNet/IP and Modbus.Familiar with software development methodologyBasic Project Management knowledge and skillsVacancy expired!
