Our client, a prominent established law firm seeks an experienced attorney for a full time direct hire position in Bakersfield. Excellent academic, communication and presentation skills. Trial experience preferred. Full time direct hire position offering a competitive salary and great benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Court representation of minors at all phases of dependency proceedings.
Interview and counsel clients as needed.
Analyze and apply legal principles and facts in making appropriate recommendations to the court.
Conduct legal research and prepare/filing motions, writs, briefs, and other court forms as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of experience preferred.
JD from a reputable institute.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to communicate sensitive topics with compassion, empathy, and diplomacy.
