LANPRO Systems, Inc. is a leading network systems integrator and Managed Service Provider in the local Bakersfield area, specializing in various technologies that include, but not limited to: Microsoft server solutions, business continuity and cloud solutions, hosted and on premise VOIP/PBX phone systems, and much more. We are an experienced team of network systems engineers, IT consultants, and computer network technicians that service the technology needs of industries of varying sizes, from 5 users up to several hundred. We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, Level I Technician who is interested in being consistently challenged.
This is the opportunity for an individual who wants to be exposed to new and exciting computer technologies, and for someone who wants to ultimately become a "Trusted Adviser" to our valued set of clientele.
This position requires excellent communication skills as much of your time will be spent dealing directly with the our valuable clientele base. Customer Service is top priority for us here at LANPRO Systems, Inc. and it's something we take very seriously. If you do not consider yourself a "people person" this is NOT the position for you.
You are a master of the following technologies:
All Windows desktop platforms, including Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista, etc.
General understanding of client/server networking concepts such as adding a workstation to a domain, troubleshooting basic network connectivity, adding a user to Active Directory, AD Security and Distro Groups, etc.
General understanding of Windows Server administration such as adding user accounts, changing passwords, etc.
General understanding of Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware Enterprise Editions (Bitdefender, Vipre, Symantec, etc.)
A thorough understanding of Microsoft Office and Outlook
A thorough understanding of basic PC maintenance routines: Disk Cleanup, Disk Defrag, Windows Updates, etc.
You are also:
Excellent at communicating with end-users/management/I.T. staff members of other companies.
Looking forward to NOT working in the same environment day in and day out.
Willing to do regional traveling on a daily basis (typically within 30 to 40 miles of the Bakersfield area)
Willing to work occasional nights and weekends for network deployments and after hours emergency support situations.
You possess:
Minimum 2 years hands on experience with the above technologies.
Brilliant Troubleshooting Skills.
Clean DMV/Driving Record - Strong Communication Skills.

Compensation and Benefits
This position is a full time position (W-2). Compensation will be discussed during interview process. You will be also provide with company benefit/perks such as a cell phone, medical benefits, paid training/vacation/sick leave, etc.
