Assist in the review of Firewall, Routers/Switches and system logs and assist in the investigation of anomalies Assist in the daily monitoring of the web filter and report any anomalies to the IT Security Supervisor. Assist in the daily monitoring of the current e-mail filter and report any suspect e-mails. Assist in the monitoring, investigation, and removal of malicious software. Assists with various IT audit functions: generation, review and remediation of findings Tests computer systems to evaluate effectiveness of security. Evaluate, installs and configures security hardware and peripherals. Monitors and communicates the status of security patch levels, operating system versions and application releases that deal with security weaknesses. Assist in the installation of security patches, vulnerability remediations and updates when needed. Assists in the planning, communication, testing, and implementation of disaster recovery procedures. Assist in the monitoring of Team Members to determine that all IT security policies are being adhered to. Assist internal groups in the assessment of vulnerabilities and work to address them. Assist in the training of internal IT staff on the proper adherence to internal security policies. Assist the Help Desk with removal of any non-business software found on any Credit Union PC.
