Required Skills:
Experience installing and terminating Category 5 and 6 UTP cable
Ability to neatly dress cable bundles and terminate onto patch panels
Installation of network cabinets, racks and associated seismic hardware
Experience with installation of network equipment and wireless access points
Experience with installation of video surveillance equipment
Ability to lift heavy objects 50 lbs. +
Cable testing with a Fluke tester / Saving & downloading test results
Installation documentation
Project equipment inventory
Bending and installing conduit
Working with power tools
Fiber experience a plus
Ability to keep client facilities clean and tidy for project duration
Good communication with project management team and clients

Have his/her own hand tools including but not limited to:
- Basic cable continuity tester
- Tone generator and wand
- Labeler
- Impact termination tool with 66 & 110 blades
- Cable strippers / electricians scissors
- 6 A-frame ladder
- Reciprocating saw / Sawzall
- Cordless power drill
- Bits for all conditions; metal, masonry & wood
- ¾ unibit
- Rj-45 crimp tool
- Gopher pole / glo-rods
- Keyhole saw
- Channel-lock pliers
- Bubble level
- Stud-finder
- Linesmans pliers
- Klein 10 in 1 screwdriver
- Security bits
- Socket set
- Vacuum

Have reliable transportation capable of transporting project materials and ladders.
Be able to pass background and drug checks. You will be required to submit to fingerprint live scan at Company expense.
