You will set up and operate a variety of equipment and standards
under actual or simulated operating conditions and use items
such as physical dimensional references standards to unsure
traceability.
You will use a variety of hand and power tools to perform
incidental repairs
You will troubleshoot and repair new systems during the
operational tests and improvises
You will use computer programming routines to set and adjust
equipment operating parameters
You will apply test uncertainty and ratio calculations to
determine suitability of calibration standards

You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including
nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements.
Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may
be required.
This position requires rotating shift work.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to
CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You
must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for
extended periods of time
You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain
a government credit card with travel and purchase authority.
You will be required to have the ability to discern colors,
contrasts, and depth.
