Taos is hiring a DevOps Engineer. This will be part of the Interactive Systems Engineering Team. This team manages applications and infrastructure.

As a member of the team, you will design, implement, and maintain services which directly support renowned creative team.

Key Qualifications:

You run most Linux commands and utilities and have handled Linux (nix) servers in a production environment

You are an expert at managing containerized and virtualized deployment

You are an expert on VMWare vSphere, openstack and other infrastructure virtualization platforms.

You are expert in building, managing and troubleshooting data center infrastructure.

You have a working knowledge of networking (TCP/IP) and the ability to run network services in a nix environment

You have working knowledge of Kubernetes.

You have been part of major product or service launch

You have worked on Configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef

You understand storage (Network-attached, Object, Block)

DevOps/release engineering automation ( Ex: Jenkins, SCM, Ansible)

Application performance tuning and optimization

Scripting skills on Shell, Python or Ruby

Experience with source control systems such as Subversion or Git

Requires a minimum of 7+ years of experience in an enterprise environment

Participate in architectural planning, discussions and implementation to ensure a consistent technology roadmap

Drive projects to completion by working closely with technical and business stakeholders.

Provision and manage services in a virtualized and containerized environments.

Automate operational duties and KPI monitoring

Work collaboratively with Producers, front and back-end developers, info security and leadership team to deliver quality results.
