- Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to participate in road trips of up to 2 weeks duration on occasion.
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSCS or BSEE preferred)
- Possesses automotive electronics knowledge and have 4-5 years of experience along with 3 or more years' experience as a Infotainment Validation Engineer with an OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
- Possess prior experience with embedded and integrated automotive systems and has developed system-level thinking.
- Prior experience validating navigation functions is highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of automotive Infotainment systems.
- Strong ability to interpret technical specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, social and interpersonal skills.

- Excel at engaging with our international partners.
- Someone with the ability to partner with VW Group development department for validation, launch and series support of electronic car systems.
- worked with automotive and OEM suppliers of automobile and validating/testing electronics hardware and software.
- Can eloquently express and advocate product improvement ideas.
- Identifying and highlighting new technology/trends that would advance the field to our various partners.
- Enjoy creating and updating validation and test procedures, plans and routes in order to effectively perform laboratory and test drives with a focus on North American market specifications.
- Responsible for test and validation execution and coordination along with lab and field tests.
- Establish and maintain an error reporting database, be aware of objective quality results and deliver to state of the art future infotainment products.
- Discovering errors and identifying bug-fix verification.
- Confidently ensure functionality of test setups (systems and vehicles) and can maintain and operate infotainment test-bench systems.
- Prepare vehicles for test drives and participate in test drives in a variety of brands.
- Looking for someone who can build-up, package and integrate new prototypes into cars.
