The Payroll Coordinator Overview:

Our Payroll Coordinator will be a hawk-eyed people-person with an upbeat and approachable personality. Our Next Payroll Coordinator Will:

  • Utilize ADP WorkforceNow to process accurate payroll for a portion of our growing team of 1100+ nationwide employees by entering and auditing all bi-weekly employee earnings including: hours worked, salary wages, commissions, bonus, vacation transactions, retroactive pay, and any manager initiated changes.
  • Audit, audit, audit. You will audit and process employee W2’s and 1095s, and you will audit HR team entries for new hire onboarding.
  • Manage the imports/exports between our timekeeping system (CrewConnect) and our HRIS (ADP)
  • Ensure state SUI & Tax Rates are compliant Additionally you will manage, track, and respond to Federal, State and local agency notices, reports, and requests for information.
  • Ensure quarterly payment of state-specific worker’s compensation, local taxing, and local health ordinances.
  • Administer payments for employees leaves of absence, Build and maintain a relationship with the Comoto Accounting department to reconcile bank statements pertaining to ADP entries and check logs. You will also be responsible for processing and sending internal payroll reporting to the Assistant Controller and Assistant Treasurer.
  • Prepare and respond to wage verifications for employment, workers compensation, and unemployment.
  • Assist with data compilation for annual 401(k) and will ensure contributions are reported accurately and timely.
  • Maintain a full-time Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule. We anticipate returning to the office in the future, but for now, you must be comfortable working in an office environment at least one day per week to pick up and sort through payroll team mail as well as to process and coordinate delivery of manual checks.

Qualifications

Our Next PayrollCoordinator Has:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience processing payroll for 500+ employees using ADP HR/Benefits Solutions (preferably WorkforceNow).
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws/regulations. Multi-state experience is preferred.
  • Experience processing varying pay types and combinations of pay plans (salary, hourly, commissions, spiffs, bonuses).
