Large entertainment company in Beverly Hills, CA is looking to hire a
Senior Systems Administrator/IT Technical Lead to handle the planning, engineering, and day-to-day operations of the organization's systems infrastructure. This person will be responsible for ensuring proper management and support for core infrastructure technologies, including but not limited to Windows Servers, PowerShell, Active Directory, Exchange Online, SQL Server, LAN/WAN/WiFi and other cloud-based services.The ideal candidate will have:- Experience in IT Systems administration/engineering supporting 500 or more users
- Extensive experience managing Office 365 hosted Exchange and other cloud services
- Extensive experience in Identity Management (Azure AD Premium or OKTA)
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Active Directory (AD & Azure AD Premium), IIS, server configurations, TCP/IP stack configuration and troubleshooting
- Advanced experience with cloud based SaaS integrations
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2008) /desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10 & MacOS) (required) with VB Scripting for login scripts and other basic tasks
- VMware certified professional (highly preferred)
- Experience with MS Exchange group policy – scripting, monitoring & reporting
- Experience with VOIP telecom system management and interfaces
- Knowledgeable in cyber security threats and prevention strategies.
- Strong analytical, leadership, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills.
- Uses sound judgment when making decisions and dealing with others
- Ability to accept direction and developmental guidance from supervisor
- Ability to work with individuals at all levels.
- Design, install, configure, and maintain internal and customer facing servers/hosts and assists with operation and maintenance of network devices and firewalls
- Develop and document procedures and proactively manage and maintain server and storage network systems
- Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions
- Define and document best practices and support procedures
- Provide occasional after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance actions
- Maintain asset inventory and configuration documentation
- Assist with hardware, firewall, telecom and software vendor evaluation, recommendation and negotiations
- Ability to work overtime/extended hours as required
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience
- Microsoft Cloud Platform (Azure, Office 365, Azure AD Premium)
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2008) /desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10 and MacOS)
- Group Policy design and configuration
- Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration
- Experience with MS Exchange group policy – scripting, monitoring & reporting
- Solid experience and understanding of LAN/WAN networking protocols and technologies
- Experience with system and network performance monitoring and reporting tools such as Solarwinds
- Ability to assist in troubleshooting network issues including back bone infrastructure issues
- LAN/Wifi Routing and Switching troubleshooting (VLANs, IP Sub netting, 802.1Q trunks)
- Experience managing deployments/rollouts
- Experience managing server virtualization technologies such as VMWare Server/ESX or Microsoft HyperV/Virtual Server
- Experience managing and supporting VOIP telecom systems
- Solid experience with implementing Information Security/Assurance procedures and technologies
- Experience with Cylance Endpoint Protection (preferred)
- Experience with security vulnerability scanning tools such as DarkTrace, Splunk etc.
- Experience with Microsoft InTune and JAMF / Patch Management (preferred)
- Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying length
- Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
