Please note this job is located at the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area in Mammoth Lakes, CA.
Journeyman-level electrician, overseeing the safe and efficient operations of all aerial and surface lifts (including the gondolas).
The ideal candidate has prior, direct experience with motor controls, low-voltage controls, and power distribution systems. These include high voltage applications, A/C as well as D/C systems, and experience with PLC's.
Performs general maintenance and repairs, performs daily and monthly inspections, and troubleshoots simple system faults, both on the low voltage and mechanical sides.
We are looking for someone who is interested in making this a long-term commitment and wants to learn, advancing his or her knowledge and mechanical skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Graduate from a 2 year electrical trade school.
2 years lift maintenance electrical experience.
Motor control system experience and DC/AC Drives.
ANSI B77.1-2017 knowledge.
Relay Logic and PLC systems experience.
Low Voltage control experience.
Basic NEC code knowledge.
