You will be an integral part of the Company’s in-house legal department. The Compliance Project Manager will support the General Counsel with dental platform projects and the professional staff with paralegal projects in the area of compliance and other special projects as assigned.PRIMARY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide ompliance and Project Management Support.

Assist in the planning and implementation of projects; definition of project scope, goals, deliverables, project tasks and resource requirements.

Develop full scale project plans.

Plan and schedule project timelines, and track project deliverables using appropriate tools

Constantly monitor and present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions to all stakeholders.

Partner with the appropriate business areas to deliver supplemental compliance training that further amplifies the corporate program, engages employees, and addresses specific needs within the Dental platform.

Manage compliance dashboards and tracking tools.

Knowledge and understanding of compliance risk management practices and methodologies, including risk assessment, monitoring/surveillance, and testing activities.

Collaborate closely with colleagues in Legal, Internal Audit, HR, Finance and other core functions in order to direct compliance issues through the appropriate channels for investigation and resolution as well as work towards future improvements as the Compliance Program evolves.

Preferred experience in conducting investigations and managing the entire investigations process, including the management and tracking of the investigation lifecycle and the close-out process.

Experience in developing and maintaining effective lines of communication including audit follow up and remediation. Including management of the Speak Up Hotline.

Preferred experience in the maintenance, and revision of policies and procedures for the general operation of a Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.

Assist with managing and maintaining the compliance databases.

Preferred experience in monitoring the performance of a Compliance Program and related activities on a continuing basis and taking appropriate steps to improve effectiveness.

Further project management and compliance paralegal type duties to be assigned based ability and experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.

Paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited school, a plus.

3+ years of experience with any combination of paralegal, compliance project management experience, preferably in-house for a corporation or a corporate law firm.

Strong project management skills, to include managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and meet tight deadlines.

Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.

Demonstrated ability to work with outside counsel and to interact with senior management. Must demonstrate a high degree of organizational skills and professionalism.

Strong presentation and written and verbal communication skills; strong project management skills.

Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint applications.
