Payroll Administrator

Description We are seeking a Payroll Administrator for our team located in Brea, California. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The job function revolves around the processing of payroll and maintaining accurate records, primarily using platforms like ADP Workforce Now and MS Excel. Responsibilities: Utilize ADP Workforce Now to process payroll for multiple companies effectively Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure timely updates Handle customer inquiries related to payroll and provide appropriate resolutions Monitor and manage customer accounts regularly Utilize MS Excel for the calculation of commissions and bonuses Ensure adherence to payroll-related policies and guidelines Collaborate with the team to streamline payroll processes Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism Assist in the development of payroll reports for record-keeping purposes Stay updated with current regulations, best practices, and industry trends related to payroll processing. Requirements Proficiency in processing payroll Experience and proficiency in ADP Workforce Now Advanced skills in MS Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication skills, both oral and written Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Knowledge of payroll policies, procedures, and regulations Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve payroll discrepancies Experience in multi-state payroll processing preferred Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
