The vision of Finance and Accounting is to provide financial accounting, reporting, analytical and decision support to management.You will be a part of the Revenue Recognition accounting team and report to the Senior Manager, Accounting responsible for Beckman Coulter’s revenue and lease accounting procedures.If you thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic role and want to work to build a world-class finance and accounting organization—read on.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Reviewing and evaluating complex sales and lease contracts to assess compliance with lease and revenue accounting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, company policies and procedures.

Assisting and working closely with the North America commercial sales team and customer service representatives regarding contracts, implication of contractual language, and its effects on revenue recognition and leasing classification.

Researching and staying current on technical accounting matters and being a resource for technical matters.

Collaboration with external and internal auditors of the revenue and lease accounting processes.

Perform monthly and quarterly close procedures related to revenue and lease accounting to ensure company results are reported timely and accurately.

Build a foundation of the company’s business model, including product offerings, customer base, and sales and contract structuring.

Develop analyses to validate and support accounting assumptions used.

The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor Degree in field with 5+ years’ experience OR Master Degree in field with 3+ years’ experience OR Doctoral Degree in field with 0-2 years’ experience (Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance)

Advanced competency in Excel

Presentation experience

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license

Big 4 Accounting firm experience.
