At the interview sessions, you’ll learn about the hiring process and essential requirements to successfully become a Transportation Security Officer.All who attend the event will automatically receive the results of their interview. Interview Date: Friday, October 18, 2019Group Interviews will promptly begin at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.Location: SFO Business and Career Center, International Terminal A, Departures Level (across the medical clinic)Incentives and Benefits:$1,000 Bonus (upon the successful completion of predetermined criteria)Potential Supervisor promotions, with salary of $71,600.Full time and Part time positions are currently open.Part time is defined as 20-32 hours per week, with the possibility to schedule other hours dependent on the operational needs of the airport.Part time employees receive the same medical/dental benefits as full-time employees.Candidates with current or previous US Military experience are eligible to apply for full-time employment.Women are encouraged to apply.Required documents in order to interview:

What to expect if you receive a Conditional Offer after the interview?CAS staff will schedule you to attend a 2 ½ hour Computer Based Training (CBT).Practice tests available at CAS’s office. Location and directions will be provided after the interview.Travel is required to attend the 2 week mandatory TSA New Hire Training.New employees are compensated hours and reimbursed for authorized travel expenses per CAS Travel Policy. See attachment.Salary rate during training $19.06 per hourSalary rate after completion of New Hire training-$23.20 per hour Responsible for identifying dangerous objects in baggage, cargo and on passengers and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft. Carry out duties in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service. Use diverse, cutting edge electronic detection and imaging equipment. Perform pat down searches, operation of x-ray machines, baggage screening and ticket review as needed. Other duties as assigned.Essential Requirements:Must be a US citizenMust be proficient in the English language (i.e. able to read, write, speak and listen)Must be 18 or olderMust pass a Drug Screening and Medical EvaluationMust have high school diploma, GED or equivalentMust be able to pass a Credit and Criminal Background check.
