Essential Functions
Understand the order-to-cash process in ERP systems to increase cash flow and reduce baddebt for their customer base
Contacts customer on past due transactions, makes arrangements for payments to bringthe account current, and follows up to ensure obligations are satisfied
Collects, manages, and provides resolution of outstanding invoices from past due accountsto ensure the appropriate aging-targets are met
Work customer deductions to ensure units and claims are being processed timely accordingto Crane Aerospace policies
Researches and analyzes accounts prior to initiating contact; reviews payment history,evaluates past collection efforts
Work with sales and customer service to resolve invoice to purchase order discrepanciesdelaying payment and record a call note in Oracle
Maintains effective working relationships with all levels of management to ensure customerdisputes are resolved and handled appropriately while at the same time maintaining customer relations
Make late stage collection calls and attempts to resolve prior to placement
Review and notify Supervisor on slow/poor paying customers
Performs cash on account application as needed
Perform other special projects and duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: 2-5 years accounts receivable experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge: Knowledge of the purchase order to cash process is essential.
Skills: Spreadsheet, data entry and word processing skills required. Knowledge of Oracle 11i is a plus.
Must be detail oriented, with strong math and organizational, communication and customer service skills.
Must be able to work independently and take ownership of projects and workflow.
Must be able to work in a flexible team environment and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Computer Skills: Windows Office with an emphasis in Excel proficiency
Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent
Language: In addition to English; a second language is a plus
